Bayadere
A name of Portuguese origin which indicates certain Indian dancers and their characteristics costumes or multicoloured striped cloth. Today, for that reason, this term designates multicoloured striped patterns or prints worked in a parallel weft direction//. Sometimes harem pants are also called by this name.
