Cover (or cover-coat)
It means overcoat, duster, and therefore the relative cloth, of average weight, made with multiple-ply twisted yarns, usually worked in a diagonal or herringbone twill weave. It is similar to gabardine but heavier, suitable for overcoats, jackets and even raincoats. Sometimes it undergoes a waterproofing process.
