Combed

Yarn or, consequently, fabric (wool, cotton, or other fibres, however discontinuous) whose fibres, during the spinning process, have undergone the combing process. Combed fabrics, unlike the carpets, are of medium weight and light weight. Mostly they have a smooth and uniform surface that makes them suitable for everyday wear, for which good resistance, ease of maintenance, unlimited duration etc. are required.
