Shetland

Wool supplied by the sheep of the islands of the homonymous archipelago, located north of Scotland. The Shetland are fine wool, with a soft hand and slightly hairy and rather shiny appearance. The name also refers to fabrics made with these wool, carded or combed, of medium weight, on a diagonal or earmuffed armor, with a characteristic surface for long, unbleached and flattened hair.
