Loden
Woven carded wool fabric, durable, rather coarse, very flourished and long-dressed, brushed in the direction, flattened. It is waterproof from equipment operations: wool fibres, after being worn, are covered in the same direction, so the rain slips on them without penetrating. The classic color of this fabric is rotten green. It is also said of a particular coat or overcoat model, Tyrolean line.
