The fabrics made of sax armor have the unequal right and the reverse, which are technically distinct in heavy and lightweight: the heavy effect prevails on the warp, on the light effect the weft. Saw is found to be poorly used in drapery or bedding fabrics, except for gabardines. Instead, it is much more used in lightweight silk or silk wool fabrics and cotton fabrics (jeans, drill, levantine, etc.).
