Jacquard

From the name of the inventor Jean Marie Jacquard (1805). Special mechanism, with perforated cartons, applied to the frames to control the movement of individual warp yarns, through which interlacing and design are also very complex. Generally with this name are also all fabric fabrics executed with chassis equipped with Jacquard macchian and having complex designs in the most varied armor such as damask, brocade or other fabrics for furniture and clothing.
