Hydrophilisation
Industrial sponge treatment, which removes the waxy parts in cotton, gives it strong water absorption capacity since first use. The hydrophilic sponge absorbs up to three times its corresponding weight by water. Sponges that have undergone this treatment are often marked with the DRY brand.
