Goretex
microporous membrane of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE, Teflon), which has a very high porosity and a unique level of impermeability. Originally used by NASA for outerwear, it is currently widely used in sportswear and leisure wear, gloves, footwear, etc., where it guarantees wind and rain protection, while ensuring the best body sweat. The goretex is available in some versions: in the form of laminate firmly applied to the outer fabric, or inserted separately between outer fabric and lining.
