Reps
French term. Woven fabric, cotton or silk with longitudinal shapes (weft reps) or transverse (warp reps). The armor comes from the canvas for widening the weft and warp ratio. Also known as cannellate or canneté. It is a robust fabric, used for both men's and women's clothing, for upholstery and overall furnishings.
